During the long winter of 2010-2011, I came up
with the idea of producing a calendar for 2012 that would feature
women bluegrass banjo musicians. Well, let me tell you, it was
hard to narrow my list down to twelve.
Featured
women musicians are: Casey Henry, Anna Sigmon, Becky
Buller, Pam Gadd, Rhiannon Giddens, Murphy Henry, Gretchen Bowder,
Rebecca Reed-Lunn, Joan Harrison, Cathy Fink, Marcy Marxer , and Maggie
MacKay.
The result is an 8.5 x 11 full
color calendar, printed on 100# glossy paper. It is saddle
stitched and not drilled. That way no holes mar the images.
